I am incredible happy having been invited to the 2018 edition of Tomarimbando. It was such a big pleasure to be part of that very educative event, which is organized by Luiz Ferreira and his wonderful wife Margarida Silva Ferreira.
Together with Ludwig Albert, Joaquin Alves, Nuno Aroso, Ivana Bilic the “Tamborimba Ensemble” (Monica Castro Torres, Alexander Duque, Gustavo Jordan and Dario Oliveros) and the members of “Simantra Percussion Group” (Andrés Pérez, Leandro Teixeira, Luiz Ferreira e Ricardo Monteiro) we showed, teached. performed and celebrated so many different aspects of percussion!

The students have been showing very good suportive attitudes. They came to learn and to get inspired. I really appreciate the way Luiz constructed the festival. All the parts, the concerts, the masterclasses, the competition and the school-concerts of percussion classes all together offer the learning percussionist a lot of opportunities.
I feel very grateful for that experience.
