one time 1 one time 2 ≠ 1 // Teresa Grebchenko and Francesca Santangelo

I´d like to share some more impressions of the concert of Teresa Grebchenko & me, which we performed last weekend. We transformed this garage to a space in which the concept, which was as easy as impactful, one time 1 one time 2 ≠ 1 came to reality – each of us performed compositions of the same composer and we offered the audience a journey of variety and differences from Schwantner, Globokar to Xenakis and Zappa – a work of Teresa Grebchenko and an arrragement from me of Zappas Black Page for marching drum and drumset.
Showing that a composer has not always the same sound or the same ideas as well as a percussionist is not always a percussionist… we enjoyed this concert!
A special place, a special concert and a revival of us beeing together on stage after around 10 years…!
